Julie Blyth was one of 2 Clinical Advisors at the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. She led the counselling team response at the Commission, co-designed and implemented the Well at Work Program to address and prevent vicarious trauma for staff, and worked to implement a trauma informed approach across the work of the Commission over the past 5 years.  She has a Social Work background and worked extensively in counselling, training and consultancy in responding to the trauma of violence and abuse.
