A Conversation Between Philosophy & Psychoanalysis
with Dr Louise Braddock
Psychoanalysis has a longstanding connection with philosophy and, yet, each is ambivalent about the other. Philosophers are (not) interested in psychoanalysis, while psychoanalysts often see philosophy as a resource, while rejecting its defining mode of working as unduly rationalistic. These lectures explore the connections, and the misunderstandings, between the two disciplines.
A series of three lectures on Wednesday 5, 12 & 19 March 2014 at 6.30 - 9.30pm
