THE BOOK
‘Transgenerational Trauma and the Aboriginal Preschool Child – Healing Through
Intervention’ is the first psychoanalytically informed book on working with Aboriginal preschool
children and is the outcome of years of thought and work by many professionals, psychoanalysts
and psychoanalytic therapists around Gunawirra’s ongoing and expanding work.
NSWIPP is proud to be associated with Gunawirra through our shared members, affiliates and
trainees, as well as the psychoanalytic and social values that underpin Gunawirra’s important work.
THE SEMINAR DAY
This will be a full day seminar on healing trauma for Aboriginal children aged 3 to 5 years, as
discussed in the book. Further details will be sent out to all our colleagues shortly.
