The infant within: The Infant in the
therapeutic process.
Presented by Lorraine Rose
to be held at NSWIPP premises, 123a Mitchell Street, Glebe on
Monday, 27th October at 7:30pm
Lorraine Rose is a psychologist and analytic psychotherapist in
Sydney. She is the author of 'Learning to Love', a book for parents on the
emotional world of the baby during the first year. She was a founding
member of PIFA and has an ongoing interest in early developmental
dynamics in individuals and groups.
.Over the years I have learnt the value of having a deep understanding of the normal
process of early emotional development. This knowledge is of great assistance when
assessing the needs of the patient. My experience also concurs with the neuroscience,
that the early years are critical in laying down a template or pattern for future relationships.
Finally understanding bodily and wordless states of being are an essential part of our
therapeutic skills..
Cost is $40 including GST for each presentation or $80 for the remaining 2 in the series. Places
