Getting to know Relational Psychoanalysis
SCIARPP is very excited to be offering its first ongoing education program in 2015. We
have created a program of seminars featuring some of the most highly regarded and widely
published Relational clinicians from North America. This series will give attendees exposure to
the breadth and diversity of relational thinking and will also provide an excellent introduction to
Relational Psychoanalysis for those new to this way of thinking and working.
The program consists of a diverse array of topics and clinical issues. Attendees can
register for any number or all of the seminars, as each seminar is a stand-alone educational
experience. Each speaker will be presenting their thinking around a topic based on their recent
work or publications. The speaker will interact with us via video-conferencing directly from the
USA. Some seminars will include preparatory reading. We expect and encourage dialogue
between the speaker and attendees, and there will be a generous amount of time devoted to
questions and interaction. Seminars will be held on Saturday mornings, beginning at 9am, 10am
or 11am, and will run for 2 hours. Morning tea will be provided.
