The RANZCP Psychotherapy Research Award

The RANZCP Psychotherapy Research Award encourages research in psychotherapy amongst psychiatry trainees and recent Fellows in Australia and New Zealand. It is offered annually to facilitate research projects in psychotherapy, and is made on the basis of a research protocol submitted by applicants. The Award comprises an award certificate and provision of funding (in line with the research project budget) for the proposed research, to a maximum of AUD$10,000.

The RANZCP Section of Psychotherapy Essay Prize

The RANZCP Section of Psychotherapy Essay Prize is made available annually, for the best essay submitted by a psychiatry trainee or recent Fellow on a psychotherapy topic. Applications are made by submission of a suitable paper (which should be 2000 to 3000 words in length, and be suitable for publication in a refereed scientific journal). The Prize is valued at AUD$1,000.
